Barfoot & Thompson Stadium is administered under a Trust Deed by a Board of Trustees - The East City Community Trust. As New Zealand's longest running Stadium we are always looking for casual staff who can work on a mid to long term basis at the venue. As well as the Stadium, we have the Aftercare/Holiday Programme and Preschool which are always happy to hear from anyone interested in joining our awesome team here at the Trust! Event Crew

• Are you a student in Year 11-13, or just starting university? Need extra cash or some work experience? Become a part of the Barfoot & Thompson Stadium Event Staff for casual work. Shifts are often related to set up, pack up, and parking for events.
• We host a variety of events throughout the year and each one has varying start/end times. A Set Up will generally take place the night before the event, and a Pack Up will commence once the event ends. (Our busy week schedules require us to take immediate action after each event ends).
• Flexible and casual hours that you can tailor around your personal schedule. 
• Work after 11PM and the Stadium will cover an Uber ride home.
• Free access to the events when scheduled.
• Opportunities for additional work through the Preschool for landscaping.

Teaching Staff

• Caring, trained, experienced professionals, responsible for providing a safe and educational ​environment. Raise your hand if that is you! These are all the wonderful qualities our preschool teaching staff embody and we are keen to hear from anyone interested in joining our team here at the Trust.​​

Vacancies
Relief Teacher - can be unqualified, but must have experience with children under 5 in an ECE setting.  We can offer school length hours either relief or a fix days option.

Kitchen staff  - hours are 8.30 - 1.00pm, 3 - 4 days a week to prepare morning tea, heat up and serve lunch, tidy and clean kitchen.
