WRC2 - Wheelchair Rugby Competition Round 2
NZ Wheelchair Rugby (NZWR) are pleased to be hosting the second round of the Wheelchair Rugby Competition (WRC2). Players and teams will have a measure of their opposition from playing at the WRC1, their strategies and game plans will be in place.
NZWR’s Officials run NZ Wheelchair Rugby tournaments. Official Volunteers are Referees, Classifiers and Bench staff. All roles are trained through a pathway developing individuals from domestic level to international level recognised qualifications. Wheelchair rugby is a game to be enjoyed by everyone and there is a role for everyone. If you are Interested in volunteering - click here.
The WRC’s are tough, extremely physical tournaments due to NZWR’s Social Grading allowing players of all abilities to be included in teams. NZ Social Grading broadens the playing field, increasing the physical challenge for each player and every game.
We acknowledge and thank the support from NZ Wheelchair Rugby Committee, volunteers and supporters contributing to our sport, allowing the WRC competition to take place.
