What do we offer?
Planning for a school ball may seem a little daunting, so we want to help make this a fun and exciting process from beginning to end. We are more than capable of transforming our Stadium from a classic gymnasium prom setting to a beautifully decked-out ball room. The main floor has the ability to accommodate a school ball of around 150 to 800+ guests. We have ample space and high ceilings that will complement your creative visions, a spacious dance-floor, and staging suitable for a DJ and sets. Above all, we have experienced and competent staff who are dedicated to work alongside you to help ensure you have a night to remember. ​

How many people can you accomodate?

We can accommodate around 150 to 800+ people.

Is this offer only limited to high schools and colleges?

Absolutely not! Whether it's a big year 13 dance, a university stein or a company dinner, we have the space to accommodate them all.

What time can we come in to set up?

We allow our clients to start coming in to set up either the night before or on the event day.

What's the best way to get to Barfoot & Thompson Stadium?

The Stadium is conveniently nestled in the central suburbs, located only 7 minutes from Mission Bay and 15 minutes from the city centre. Also accessible via various Auckland Public transport.

Are there any restrictions on what we can/can't do in terms of decorations for our theme?

With an abundance of space in our Stadium - length wise and height wise - we are able to provide you with enough flexibility and freedom to create your dream set up.

Can I take my shoes off on the dance floor?

Yes, you may, but it's not our fault if you stub your toe!
