Where is the book drop off?
To better manage the growth of our annual GABBS bookfair, we no longer accept donations through at the main front office of the Barfoot & Thompson Stadium. Instead, all donations must be taken to the designated donations drop-off site, where volunteers are onsite specifically to sort through all the donations coming through. A map detailing how to get to the site and access times can be found here.
What time do you open & close?
Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
On weekends we are closed for the general public.

Is there parking available?
Yes, we have free public parking available. Read more info on Venue Parking.
On weekdays, our parking spaces will most likely be occupied by affiliates of the Barfoot & Thompson Stadium, Kohi Learning Centre (preschool), Kohi Fitness & Rehab (fitness Gym & physio), and Selwyn College (school). On weekends, our carparks may be full due to various events happening on the premise. See our Upcoming Events to prepare in advance.

How do I book a court?
We accept casual bookings for our Main Floor and Small Gym courts on a regular basis. To enquire, please fill in and submit our Clubs & Casual Bookings Form with all key booking details, and our team will get back to you regarding our availability ASAP.
Do you do walk-ins?
Due to the various events occurring during the week here, we advise all those intending to book a court to fill out our booking form (as stated above). We also recommend calling during our office hours for a quick enquiry of the availability on the day.
Is there gym parking available?
Yes - we have designated parking spots for both gym and physio members at our rear carpark. Any unauthorised vehicles parked in these spots during the gym's business hours may be towed. To avoid this happening to you, please ensure you display a gym member sticker on your vehicle - ask the Gym staff for more information on getting your sticker.

We have a wide array of sports clubs that use our facilities all year long.

How do I join a sports club?
If you are interested in joining one of our regular sports clubs, we suggest you get in contact with the main person of contact for each club. Their information can be found on the individual pages related to each sports club.
Is smoking permitted?
The Barfoot & Thompson Stadium is a smoke-free environment and smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is not permitted at anytime inside the venue.

How do I apply for a job?
We are always looking for casual staff looking to work from a mid to long term duration at the Stadium. We also often advertise one-off work opportunities through Student Job Search, so keep your eyes peeled.
